VL53L1X ToF sensor in Ubuntu

Hello,

Has anyone tried using VL53L1 Time of Flight sensor from ST Micro in Ubuntu?
I’m installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
I don’t know how to make this work, please help.

I attached the sensor via a debug board like this
