Underwater rov HELP

I am trying to make a u/w rov. I have 4 bilge pumps for motors. I want to run the motors analog and a robot arm with two motors. The bilge pump motors have to run forward and reverse. the same for the robot arm motors. Will a mini servo controller work or what do I need electronically to make it work and use my labtop? I know very little about this. Starting from the bilge pump motors 12v up to 5 amp and work electronically up to the computer.


Did we just talk on the phone about this? I just suggested our jrk 12v12 to someone with a similar question, with a warning that for long-distance serial communication you will probably need something better than USB or a TTL UART. If you have more specific questions, please post them here.
