I currently have an Orangutan SVP 1284p connected through UART1 to 3 daisy-chained 24-channel Mini Maestros. I currently have the Controller TX and Maestro RX lines tied together using a rather large prototype bread board. What is a clean, proper way to tie these lines together? I want to avoid splicing all of the wires if possible…is there a connector which joins lines?
Hello.
I don’t know if there is one clean and proper way, but here are a few suggestions of what you might do:
- solder the wires together and cover with heat shrink
- crimp the wires together
- make a mini-breadboard by soldering together the pins on female headers

I was thinking #3 myself. Thanks for the suggestions.
