i’m using the example code for c# and it’s asking for the serial # of the device. such a simple question. how do i get the serial number for my maestro???
The Maestro software that you can download from this site will show you the serial number if you run it while the Maestro is connected.
If you’re on Linux, you can also unplug the device, run “sudo udevadm monitor” in a terminal, and then re-plug the device; the serial number will be one of many (many!) parameters printed out when udev discovers the device in monitor mode.

Jwatte is correct; you can find the serial number in the Maestro Control Center in the “Connected to:” field in the upper left corner.
