Residual torque question

I am interested in using the “Pololu - Invenscience i00600 Torxis Servo 1600 1.5 sec/90 deg” servos in my full-scale plane (with suitable physical control rod back-up). However, should I need to cut power to the servos, I’ like to know how much residual torque each servo will present. This torque would obviously need to be overcome by the physical control linkage, in addition to having to move the control surfaces themselves.

Any help would be appreciated.

We have not characterized how much torque is required to back drive the Torxis servos when they are not powered. You might try directly asking the manufacturer, Gear Wurx (formerly Invenscience LC).
