I have some HSR8498HB Hitec servos which does provide position feedback. It requires a 50 us pulse to initiate the enquiry, does the 18-channel maestro servo controller support 50 us pulses?

Although there is some flexibility in the way a Maestro can be programmed, we do not think it would be very practical to send arbitrary output or read input at the 10’s of microsecond time-scale using the Maestro. Also, it is not possible to switch a channel between input and output via the scripting language or serial input (which sounds like it would be desirable to do with the servos you mention).

Can this be done using the Maestro servo controller?
As I mentioned in my last post, it is not possible to change the channels on the Maestro between inputs and output using the onboard scripting language or the serial port interface. It does not sound practical to implement the kind of control scheme you mention using the Maestro.
