I don’t know whether i’m in the right place or not.
does any one know what i’d need to control a servo with a push to make switch,
so when the switch is pressed the servo moves 90 degrees and then back to its original position.

Our Micro Maestro can do exactly what you describe through its built-in script capability. We have example code for responding to a button press by performing a motion sequence (scroll down to the section called “Using a button or switch to control servos”.) You will have to learn a bit of programming, but we can help you through it.
