Pololu High-Power Motor Driver 18v15 connection

Hello,

I am a freshman in college now and don’t have much of experience so I was wondering if you guys could help me with this:

I have ( Pololu High-Power Motor Driver 18v15 ) and a microcontroller (MiniDragon evbplus.com/hcs12_9s12_produ … hcs12.html) and I was wondering to what PIN in the microcontroller should I connect the DIR PIN that is in the H-Bridge?

Hello,

If you want to drive in both directions, any 5V-logic-level general purpose IO pin will do for DIR. For driving in only one direction, you can tie DIR to GND or 5V. We would be happy to review all your connections before you power your system, if you post a picture and a schematic/description of connections.
