New project with shiftbrites and controllers - help needed

Here’s the video (taken with a better camera, although the frame rates seem to overlap, it looks better in real life).

You can see the random colours at the end but I still need to tweak the activation value so it’s off when no one is near.

And here’s a photo of the panel (still to be painted black inside and the polycarbonate sanded to diffuse the light, the protective film is still on here too).

I sanded all the lenses on the shiftbrites to diffuse there light which worked quite well as they are only about an inch below the top cover. The panel is 1m x 1m, wood frame, 3mm hardwood fibreboard base and 8mm polycarbonate top. I will be making a build log when I make the next one.
