Motor driver error pololu 36v4

Hello,
I bought 4 pololu motor driver TIC 36v4 to test with step motors, I tried all of them to see that everything works properly as usual and I found that 2 of them work properly in Serial I²C/USB mode one shows a motor error “Predriver Fault A " and another one shows a " Verification Failure” error.

Predriver fault A error: does not allow the motor to run for more than a few seconds.
Verification failure error: does nothing, de-energize automatically the motor because of that error.

Then I changed the mode to analog speed, the two pololu TIC that worked properly kept going well, the pololu with the “Predriver fault A” worked properly without any error message and the TIC with the “Verification failure” kept showing the error and not doing anything.

I would like to know the reason both errors are shown, because the 4 TICs were tested the same way, same power supply, same motor, same everything and I never saw those errors before working with the TIC T500
Why does one TIC show the “Predriver fault A” error in serial mode and the error is not shown in the analog speed mode? what is the reason of that failure?
What is the reason for a “verification failure”?
Is it a software or hardware problem? How can those error be fixed?

Hello.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your Tic stepper motor controllers. We test every unit, so they were all probably working at some point. From the errors you’re getting, I am concerned that something in your setup or system damaged those two boards. I noticed you emailed us about this as well, and since I would like to get personal details like order information, we will continue this discussion over email.
