I’m trying to get my Micro Maestro 6-channel servo controller to connect to a Windows XP laptop (someone gave it to me to make a few Halloween props with servos).
When I plugged in the Maestro, I installed the driver for it. The computer recognizes the device and the lights blink on the board but it isn’t recognized in Pololu Maestro Control Center.
In Device Manager under “Ports (COM & LPT)” it only shows the TTL port and not the Commander port.
I have fixed the issue. It was because the drivers for command port and the other one weren’t installed. I just double clicked the pololu items under “Other Devices” and clicked the "Reinstall Driver " button for both of them. Now it works.
