Micro Maestro 6-Channel Controller Driver Problem

Hi
I’m having a small problem with installing the drivers onto my Micro Maestro.
I’ve downloaded the correct drivers of the Pololu website and I know how to manually locate the drivers for it. The problem I’m having is when i point windows to the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Maestro\drivers it says “windows could not find driver software for your device”. Where do i go from here?

Hello.

I am sorry you are having trouble with your Micro Maestro. Could you tell me where you got the Maestro from? Also, one of your screenshots shows a “Details” tab. Could you go there and tell me what the Hardware Ids of the Maestro are? What version of Windows are you using?

I got my Maestro from realsentrygun.com/StarterKit.htm and the version of windows im using is windows 7 64-bit, also here are the screenshots you asked for.

I can see from your product ID of 0x9F that your Maestro has a custom version of the firmware. Our drivers and software are not designed to work with that version. You can use the Maestro’s bootloader to put the standard firmware back on the Maestro. However, if you do that then you would probably be unable to use your Maestro with the turret software.

The company you got the Maestro from should be able to give you drivers and help you to use the system.
