Hello.

Pins designed to connect directly to RS-232 ports will not work with the micro dual serial motor controller, which uses non-inverted, logic-level serial. There is apparently another hardware serial port on the LPC2119, so you should be able to use the pins connected to that. The reset pin on your board can be tied to the motor controller reset line, but it might be better to connect the motor controller reset line to one of your I/O pins so that you can have complete control over the motor controller.

It sounds like your questions are more about your microcontroller than about our motor controller, so I can’t help you there. In general, you’ll have to learn a lot about programming if you want to be using embedded controllers.
