Just ordered a Mini Maestro 12 channel servo controller. Does the software provide a method of inputting “randomly generated” positions to run the servos?

Unfortunately, the Maestro does not have a random command. However, you might be able to use the GET_MS and MOD commands together in a Maestro script to get a random number within a certain range, which is probably the easiest method to implement.
