Jrk 21v3 and LACT6P

What value of potentiometer should I use to operate a LACT6P linear actuator with a jrk 21v3 controller?

Hello, Mike.

I’m not sure I understand your question. The LACT6P comes with its own potentiometer built in, so you do not need to supply your own.

I’m sorry …I should have stated I’m looking for the recommended pot value for analog input control not FB.
Mike

For a potentiometer that you connect to the jrk’s RX pin, the important thing is just to make sure that turning the potentiometer changes the voltage on RX by at least several volts. Anything between 1 kiloohm and 10 kiloohms should work fine, but those are not strict limits. If you go below 1k it wastes more current than necessary, and if you go above 10k the voltage is more noticeably affected by the pull-up resistor on RX.

Thks David. Didn’t know avail current on Rx pin and didn’t want to put undo stress on the board.
