Jrk 12v12 USB internal pull-up resistor on Rx

Hi,

We are using a Jrk 12v12 in Pulse Width input mode, controlled by another ECU.

The other ECU has open-collector outputs which pull-down to ground when active and ‘float’ when inactive. So to generate a compatible 5V pulse train we must invert the pulse train timing and need a pull-up to the regulated 5V for the Rx pin.

Does the Rx pin on the Jrk 12v12 have an internal pull-up resistor to the regulated 5V?

If not, what value is recommended?

Thanks, Ian

Yes, the jrk’s RX line has an pull-up resistor to 5 V so you should not need to supply your own.
