Is it possible that a pololu maestro 12 can be used with JMRI

I intend connecting a pololu maestro 12 to a model rail layout for turnout or point operation via servos , is it possible to connect to JMRI with it and use JMRI for turnout control via the maestro ?

Unfortunately, we are not familiar with JMRI. You might try contacting the creators of the software to see if it supports the Maestro or at least has a way to send arbitrary serial bytes to a virtual COM port, which could be used to send the Maestro commands.

Thanks for the reply Derrill, I am surprised that you are not familiar with JMRI (java model rail interface ) I believe. It may be worth looking at it as the market for maestro would seriously increase if it is compatible.
