How to start with 3 axis stepper motor

Hi to all,
i’m a totally newbie…i want to realize a 3 axis stepper motor 24V/1A. I want to use this combination

3 A4983 STEPPER MOTOR DRIVER CARRIER WITH VOLTAGE REGULATORS

what do you think?i’m looking for an unique driver PCB for all 3 motor drivers…any suggestion?

Your combination sounds OK. You can control three stepper motors with a Micro Maestro using two channels per motor, but you probably won’t be able to get a very fast stepping rate. You could get much better performance by getting a programmable robot controller such as one of our Orangutan robot controllers.
