How does speed and acceleration control work?

Hello,

I really like the speed and acceleration control on maestro controller but im wondering how its working? Why? Im worried that it may affect servo torque (for example on full settings it will have its rated 6kgcm torque but if ill use speed control and set it like to 50% and acceleration settings it will drop to 3kgcm or even lower).

Are my worries justified or im wrong?

Hello.

You can find a description of how the Maestro’s speed setting works in this post. The Maestro’s acceleration limiting works by limiting the amount that the speed can change. I would not expect either of them to have a significant impact on the servo’s maximum torque.
