[Help Please] Wiring multiple buttons to a micro maestro

Hello, I am planning to wire multiple buttons to a micro maestro 6 and I wanted to make sure I will be doing this properly. I have wired one button in the past using the figure outlined in the manual. For the second button, can I splice a wire to the same pull-up resistor in order to use another channel (pic included), or will the 2nd button need it’s own pull up resistor coming from 5v?

If you use the same pull-up resistor, then both input pins will read low when one of the buttons is pressed.
So, yes, you need two pull-up resistors.
