Is there a way to extend the distance between a computer and a Micro Maestro 6-Channel USB Servo Controller beyond the length limits of a USB cable? Can it be interfaced with ethernet?

Yes. We bought this Bytecc USB-RJ45 - USB extender - external - up to 150 ft. It worked (I was able to move a servo via the control center) for us for approximately 100’; we didn’t try longer than that. It was less reliable than a normal USB cable, because it got disconnected for me sometimes, but that could just been me jostling the cable around too much.

Note that the extender that Ryan linked to simply uses Cat 5/Cat 6 cables; it does not use the Ethernet protocol (I mention this because you specifically asked about interfacing with Ethernet).
