DRV8838 Using the Same Source to Power Motor and Logic

Hi,

I am using the DRV8838 to control a DC motor (100:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor MP 6V; Pololu item #: 2367). I plan to power both the motor and logic using the same power source (4 AA batteries connected to Pololu’s 6V Step-Up Voltage Regulator U3V70F6). Would there be any issues having the motor power (VIN Pin) and the Logic Power (VCC Pin) share this power source (i.e., is there too much current for the logic circuit)?

Any help is appreciated!
