DRV8825 regulate voltage

Hello - my first topic here,

I have a problem with regulating voltage on the DRV8825 motor drivers - I used Arduino UNO + CNC shield + DRV8825 drivers for motors. I watched video about regulating voltage on my drivers Pololu - Video: Setting the Current Limit on Pololu Stepper Motor Driver Carriers but it is not working for me.

I connected my CNC shield by 12V 1.5A as you can see on the picture below.

After I measured voltage on my driver, but it showed still approximately 12V… as I rotate with screw on the driver DRV8825 on the left or right side anything was changed. I don´t know where is problem.

Thanks for all help

Hello.

It looks like your DRV8825 stepper motor driver carriers are not our boards. We do not know how other carrier boards are configured, so we cannot offer advice on how to use them. Your reading 11V on the via on your carrier reminded me of an issue with some DRV8825 carriers that is discussed in the “Trimpot adjustment” section of this RepRap article. If you continue to have problems, you might try contacting the manufacturer of your board for help or asking on the RepRap forum.
