Hi, I’m attempting to build a autonomous differential drive robot, with an arm on it. I think I should order the big 131:1 Metal Gear motor 37Dx57L mm with 64 CPR Encoder, because I’m expecting the robot to travel short distances with a heavy payload, and I think the “250 oz-in” is speaking of the power of the motor. But I’m confused about what motor driver to get. The stall on this motor with 12vdc applied to it is 500mA, so , do I need a motor controller that has a continuous output of 5A per channel? Which motor driver would you recommend?
