I’ve have got Serial 8-servo controller and 2 power hd 1501mg servos. I’m using command 4 (set absolute position) to control the servos.
According to the manual the min range value is 500 and max range value 5500. I’ve worked out that on my setup I can get only 1400 - 4600, which still gieves me 180 degree range but I presume lower resolution.
Could anyone please explain why is that, does it change depending on servos and is there a way to calculate available range if I was going to change the servos. I could be doing something wrong, that’s an options as well
