can you power the 6 channel maestro (processor) with a 3v battery (I’m thinking of using a watch battery CR2032), while using a 6v battery pack to power the servos?
I would wire that watch battery pack to the Vin/Ground pins on the side of the maestro.

You cannot directly power the Maestro from a 3V battery since its processor requires at least a 5V supply voltage. You might consider using a voltage regulator, like one of our step-up voltage regulators, to boost the voltage to at least 5V. Alternatively, you might try using two of those 3V watch batteries to power you Maestro.
