23201a Serial Adapter Partial Kit

Hi,
Ok, I’ll start by admitting that I’m a beginner with these kind of things :slight_smile:
I have a 23201a Kit that I intend to use between my computer and my micro controller.

GND is connected to ground.
VCC is fed with 4.8V
RX is also fed with 4.8V

Shouldn’t I be able to get an output of -12V on the RX pin of the dsub?
(Measured between signal ground and pin 2 on the serial dsub)

Hello.

That generally sounds okay. What are you measuring on the D connector? Have you tried any of the other drivers?
