Ultrasonic Sensor Mistake

Postby The Big B » Wed Jun 16, 2010 5:44 am

I'm trying to make an ultrasonic sensor using the following diagram http://www.micro-examples.com/public/mi ... anger.html but I've been told that inductor wont work for the transmitter and receiver I'm using as the capacitance is too low (Capacitance:2400pF) What I want to know is do I need a new inductor or can i use a capacitor along with the transmitter or receiver to solve the problem, I mean can I in someway increase the capacitance so that it works with the inductor I have?
