Europe’s biggest robotic championship from April 11 - 12, 2015 in Vienna

VIENNA - In spring 2015 Vienna will be the place-to-be for robot enthusiasts from all over the world: On April 11 - 12th RobotChallenge 2015, Europe’s biggest robotic championship, will take place from 10 am - 6 pm in Vienna’s Aula der Wissenschaften. In 14 different categories - among them Robot Sumo, Humanoid Sprint, Line Follower and Air Race - autonomous robots will compete against eachother. Over 400 robot designers from more than 30 countries already registered for RobotChallenge 2015. Registration for participants is still open until February, 28th.

RobotChallenge 2015 is organized by Happylab and the Austrian Society for Innovative Computer Sciences (INNOC) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW). Since 2004 the event takes place anually in Vienna and is counted among the highlights of the international robotic scene. This year in addition to participants from Austria, robot designers from China, Ecuador, Germany, Great Britain, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Czech Republic and Turkey are expected to take part in the event.[/quote]
