Is it possible to laser cut vinyl ester? and epoxy?

Hello,
Do you know if it is possible to laser cut cured vinyl ester and cured epoxy resins safely (non corrosive fumes) and with good/acceptable outcome (not burned sample)?

Unfortunately, we don’t know whether those materials would work well with laser cutting. We generally don’t laser cut anything vinyl as it contains chlorine, and cutting things with chlorine can release toxic gases and acids that are bad for both the laser operators and the machines.

If you decide on an alternate material that we can work with, feel free to submit a quote request and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. (Even if you do not see a material listed in the page above, we are open to test cutting materials that do not contain chlorine.)

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!
