Selecting motors, encoders, and motor controllers

Hi guys,

I’m working on a project and I need two NEMA 23, 125-200 oz-in, bipolar, with back shaft. I need absolute encoders on the back shafts with 1000 pulse/rev. I also need motor controllers for these motors. Any help would be appreciated.

While Pololu sells some NEMA 23-sized motors, none appear to have a back shaft.

To select a motor controller, you need to know the winding current rating of the motors, with 1.5 amperes/winding being a practical upper limit for consumer-grade stepping motor controllers.
